Has there ever been a time where forum drama has affected your mental health and how do you do with it to ensure that it doesn't bring you down? Have you ever had to step aside from a forum because it was affecting your mental health?
Welcome
Share your drama. We don't judge...at least not to your face.
Does forum drama affect your mental health?
When I get involved into a drama, it does affect my mental health. For example, a few months ago, I went into a heated discussion in a forum, where a user called me a Communist just because the government in my country was being run by a Community political party. The disagreement turned nasty, and it affected me badly.
Yes sometimes it does affect my mental health but it depends on the type of drama. Recently a thread was made on a forum I'm staff on talking negatively about another forum I am staff on and that got under my skin.
The most forum drama I encountered was on a wrestling forum. These guys on there were political extremists and it was tough to get a long with those "bad boys" lol.

Nope.
If it’s my forum, I stop it before it gets out of hand. I’ll go as far as banning people to set an example.
If it’s on a forum I don’t run, and I get brought into it, then I’ll typically quit going to that particular forum until the drama is taken care of.
If it’s a forum that I’m a staff on (or I own the forum), then I try to take care of it right away before it gets out of hand.
If I’m not a staff member, then I’ll report it immediately and walk away.
I don’t like being apart of forum drama of any kind, regardless if I work as staff on that forum or not.
