What if a friend was causing forum drama and you were staff?

If you were staff on a forum and a friend was causing forum drama with other members how would you handle the situation? How would you handle the situation if it meant that you may lose that friend?

Have you ever been in this type of situation before?

I'm usually sleeping when all the drama happens! LOL And then I wake up and it's too late and people have quit or gotten fired or taking a long LOA. It's hard to know what to say after the fact.

I would try to see whether the friend is right or wrong. Sometimes drama starter are also right and most people are misunderstanding them. In a case, when the friend is wrong, I wouldn't step in to help him and let other staff decide.
