Ever dealt with family drama?

Let's face it we're all human and we're all going to disagree at some point or another about things. This can definitely cause drama in families especially when hot button topics like politics and religion are brought up at the dinner table. So have you dealt with family drama before and were you able to get over the drama? They say life is too short to keep the drama going, but sometimes it's hard to drop it.

I have dealt with family drama, but that was years ago. One thing that comes to mind is when my husband's family misunderstood something I wrote on Facebook and went on the attack. They wouldn't listen to the reason I wrote it, and instead became hostile. I think they should have just phoned me instead of attacking because it would have gone smoother and they would have understood me a bit more.

Oh yeah.

There are several in my family that choose to live a life of drunkenness, theft, and negativity.

I forgive them. I won’t judge them. But, I want nothing to do with them and will avoid them at all costs.

I don’t hate them. I just don’t want to be close to them.
