Thoughts on members saying they’re leaving?

I always tend to think it’s not doing the site any favors and lets others chime in on badmouthing you, and usually it’s only 2 or 3 that have those feelings and not the other 5,000. I’ve been removing those kinds of posts off my Facebook group because they annoy me.

If they’re doing it for something like they’re going offline or sick or something like that, then that’s one thing.

If they’re being dramatic, then I’ll delete that post and help them out the door with a ban.

I am too old to put up with nonsense. I’ll spank first and ask questions later LOL

Most of the time I’ve seen them it is like Shawn mentioned, very dramatic (might fit here 😏). Seems like those just used it to voice their negative opinions.

No, I myself have never made a departure post, but I have messaged friends on forums to let them know why I was leaving. Then I tried to get away with sharing the link of where I was going to next and sometimes that got me banned for advertising another site
