Have you been on vacation yet this year?

I know the warmer seasons are heading our way in the Northern Hemisphere but the cooler seasons are coming to the south. Typically people like to take their vacations during the warmer time of the year, but sometimes people travel when it's cold out to warmer climates. Have you been on vacation yet this year? I was on vacation for a while but I didn't really go too far. I traveled to St. Louis on my birthday, it's about 45 minutes away from where I live.

My husband and I had a great vacation in East Tennessee. We visited his aunt and uncle to try to get a feel for their area in case we want to retire there in about 4 1/2 years. We still aren't sure because it's tough to leave our daughter.

We also stayed in a resort on a lake and that was so relaxing and nice! The food...oh we were stuffed!! The bed wasn't the best, but everything else made up for it.

We go on little mini-vacations throughout the year. Long weekends.

Last year we went to Red River Gorge in Eastern KY. The year before we went to Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee (our honeymoon).

We might go to Meramec Caverns in Missouri this year.

I’m currently on vacation this week and I am most certainly glad. This is my first vacation of the year and it may be the last one I take till January (I don’t accrue vacation time at my job all that fast).

I've gone to 3 vacations this year. Twice in France and once in Maldives. The one at Maldives was when I took my woman on a vacation, and the experience was so good. I still have one more to go before the year ends.

We had a Staycation, saying in the UK and going to Haven for my 40th. Got a cruise to Norway booked for next year however 🙂
